If you are unable to complete the circuit on the pre-scheduled trip, you can request a change by email (yellowbus@carris.pt) up to 48h before the date of use, which will be carried out without any penalty, provided that the product is available and there are seats.

Starting and ending in the city of Porto, get ready to discover Quinta da Avessada winery. After the reception, the program begins with a visit to the Enoteca gardens, accompanied by white muscat wine to the sound of the accordion. Next comes the cutting of grapes in the vineyards, listening to traditional Douro music, with transport to the wine press. The experience continues with a Douro regional typical lunch, cooked in special iron pots, respecting the art of traditional good cooking. After that, the group returns to the wine press, where the traditional grape pressing takes place. The experience continues with a visit to the Enoteca space, where an honorary Moscatel is served, and the entire process of vinification of Moscatel and Port wines is revealed. Quinta da Avessada is located on the Favaios wine plateau, in the center of the Douro demarcated area. At 600 meters above sea level and with 1000 hectares of planted area, this is the highest and flattest point in the region. A vast territory in which 90% of its vineyards are cultivated with the Moscatel Galego variety. The one that gives rise to Moscatel de Favaios. Built mainly with native materials: wood and shale, the Farm surrounds the landscape as if it were part of it. Surrounded by vineyards that merge on the horizon with the sky and the distant mountains. With 160 years of existence, Quinta da Avessada lives on the traditions and legacy of the ancestors who passed through it. It was the first farm in the region to plant the Moscatel Galego variety and consequently to produce Moscatel de Favaios. From Marquês de Pombal to Dona Antônia and Barão de Forrester, there are many personalities who contributed to the stories we have to tell.
