Purchasing online, how do I get my tickets?

After making the online purchase, the vouchers are sent to your e-mail. To activate them, show them (printed or on the smartphone) to the driver. In return you will receive a ticket, which you will have to keep until the end of its validity. After exchanging the voucher for the ticket, the voucher loses its validity.

What is the validity of the voucher?

When purchasing the Flexible Ticket, the voucher is valid for 180 days. If you are not able to take the tours within this period, or on the selected date in the purchase (Ticket with Defined Date), please send us an email (yellowbus@carris.pt) to change it, which will be done without any penalty, provided that the product is available.

How can I request a cancellation and refund of my ticket?

The cancellation is free if you do not use your ticket within 14 days after the purchase. After this date, it is nolonger possible to refund it.

How does the HOP-ON HOP-OFF system works?

You can enter and exit at any stop during the validity of your ticket and opening hours of the circuits.

Are the circuits wheelchair-accessible?

Hop on hop off Tours: most of the buses have access ramps, but there are still some that don't

Hills Tramcar Tour: there is space to stow a folded wheelchair in the back of the tram. However, it's an old vehicle so there's no ramp, the entrance is narrow and there are three high steps

Yellow Boat Tour: there is space to store a wheelchair but no access ramp

Is it possible to take pets?

Yes, it is possible to take small pets in all our vehicles (panoramic buses, trams and boat), if they are accommodated inside transportation cages, without occupying a seat.

In the tours with closed buses, only guide dogs will be allowed, which do not require a carrier.

Can I travel with a baby carriage?

Yes, it is possible as long as it is accommodated in a place that does not block the passage of other passengers.

What do I do if I lose my ticket?

Yellow Bus is not responsible for the theft or loss of tickets. Check our Terms and conditions page for more information.
